研究方向是社区与老年护理，着重从积极老龄化与健康促进、智慧养老与长期照护、数字化慢病管理与康复等角度探讨改善老年人生活质量的有效途径。在国内外医学期刊发表论文80余篇，其中SCI论文40余篇。作为负责人承担科研项目累计经费120万元，主编和副主编国家规划教材各1部，参编教材及专著5部，主持省级精品在线开放课程1门。担任中国康复医学会康复护理专业委员会委员、中华护理学会护理理论研究专业委员会委员、中华护理学会康复护理专业委员会委员、吉林省护理学会理事等。
